Love/Fic Parade!

I've got fic! Both are inspired by still_grrr 's LoveFest, among many other love-related things that are all around. How would we get through February without it?

Title: The Gay Agenda (or, Happy Anniversary)
Author: Rebcake
Rating: PG
Word Count: 625
Prompt: LoveFest (slash pairings)
Pairing: D’Hoffryn/Skip
Summary: Even the big boss enjoys the comforts of home and hearth.
Warnings: Fluffy and domestic. The only reason they don’t shop for curtains in this is because I’m not sure they have windows in Arashmahar.

And, because you might've missed it, due to drooling over James Marsters in Jersey rather than sticking close to the interwebs on Valentine's Day weekend, here's a re-link to a rare rebcake Spuffy short! (Rare because I seem to only write those two for seasonal_spuffy, and once they get going, it's never a quickie.)

Title: Maybe This Time
Author: Rebcake
Rating: PG
Word Count: 680
Pairing: Buffy/Spike
Summary: A visit to Buffy’s brain, as well as her basement, circa Chosen in BtVS Season 7.
A/N: Thanks to snickfic for the once over. (It wasn’t like that.) And, yes, I blame Glee for putting the song of the title in my head.

ETA: I almost forgot! Check out this awesome thing my brother-in-law made: 2010 Times Square Valentine: Ice Heart

It is indeed an awesome thing.

But Arashmahar *so* has curtains. Daylight, possibly not, but you need something to block out the flickering hellfires, surely?

I know! We're all atwitter about his design being chosen for this! It makes me want to sing New York, New York, except that I don't actually know the words.

Well, if there are windows in Arashmahar, there will be curtains, of course. But! What if the high-rent places are in nice, cool caves, far away from the blazing hellfires? See what I mean?

What? You want every passing demon gawking into your high-end cave? The answer = curtains. And a big heavy lockable door, possibly, but then you don't want to be staring at that once you're inside.

If I weren't so completely over-prompted just now I'd be calling for a Curtain Ficathon - all pairings welcome.

The '2010 Times Square Valentine: Ice Heart' was dazzling. A treat for the eyes!

"Maybe This Time" reminds me how over-stressed Buffy was - maybe because of some of her choices but still...if only there had been more time.

We're all so proud of BIL (and his brother) for creating such a cool (heh) piece! I wish I was there!

And, yeah, I think things would've gone more smoothly after the apocalypse if they'd both survived. *sniffle* Regrets, she has a few...
