Me too!

That I Write Like generator is pretty silly, but fun. I put in different bits and got different results, like everyone, but got duplicates of Stephen King, James Joyce, and Chuck Palahniuk. That last one was for the Spike/Buffy wedding story, no less! Hee! I guess it wasn't too sappy, after all. My very favorite is when I plugged in the whole of Moist and Delicious and got Jane Austen! I was going for that period style when I wrote it, so that's cool, but considering that I quoted an entire paragraph of Jonathan Swift, I'm a little surprised he didn't pop up. Another amusing match was Vladimir Nabokov for The Out-of-Towner, probably because I mention Dracula's first name: Vladimir.

But the main reason for this post is to announce that I have rearranged my fic master list! Which is to say, now there is one! I Ta da!

I used to have everything in links down the side of my journal, but I ran out of link space at the beginning of the year, and it's been bugging me that the listings were incomplete. I'm a librarian's daughter, so I was paralyzed by the prospect of a huge amount of cross-referencing. I wanted to have the chronological order, the characters, the story length, a short summary, AND whether the story has received any nominations or awards. Yes, there is a slight strain of OCD that runs in the family. I'd appreciate it if any of you would be willing to give it a spin and let me know how it works for you and if you have any suggestions for making it more useful.

Happy almost mid-summer, my sweets!
